We are a team of independent therapists who aim to transform the lives of those seeking help. Clients who come to us are often feeling distressed, confused, desperate, depressed, troubled and maybe lost. We are aware how vulnerable you must be feeling and provide a safe place to explore causes and triggers of these thoughts and feelings.

Life can often throw events at us that we feel we do not deserve or can't make sense of. To be able to cope with this we create safety mechanisms. Unfortunately, these mechanisms can often be our own worst enemy and can prevent us from enjoying life to its full potential. In therapy we look at these events, help you to process them and then look at ways of preventing these patterns from being repeated.

Our therapy would be carried out in a caring, contained, non-judgemental, peaceful and empathetic environment. In this you will be able to explore and develop your psychological wellbeing to maximise your contentment and happiness.

Our wish is to help you understand yourself and then make the changes necessary to enjoy life and feel at peace. Change is not often easy and we empathetically support you through this process. We aim to empower and help individuals, couples and families to find their strengths and understand their limitations.

We are pleased to offer a tried and tested, integrated multidimensional approach. This method incorporates seven different modes of therapy (Psychodynamic, Behavioural, Systemic, Cognitive Behavioural, Transactional Analysis, Humanistic and Human Relating)

APPOINTMENTS:

We are aware that many people are unable to attend therapy during normal working hours. Therefore in addition to normal working hours, we also offer evening and weekend appointments.

COMPLAINTS:
 
If you have a complaint about the service you receive, please contact the individual therapist concerned, who will try to help. If you are still unhappy and wish to make a complaint, please look at the COSRT complaints procedure 2014.
